YMCA Heritage Society
The YMCA Heritage Society is a special group of people who have shown their long-term interest and support of the Southington-Cheshire Community YMCAs by developing a plan for direct contribution to the Endowment Fund, a gift through including the YMCA in their estate plans or through a life insurance policy.
You do not need to have ready cash to make a gift to the YMCA’s Endowment Fund. You can become a member of the YMA Heritage Society by:
- Providing an outright gift to the YMCA Endowment Fund of cash, securities, property, stocks, or other marketable assets.
- Creating a trust fund, annuity trust, gift annuity, pooled income fund, short-term or other life estate programs
- Naming the Southington-Cheshire Community YMCAs as the eventual recipient of a life insurance policy
- Naming the Southington-Cheshire Community YMCA to receive a bequest in your will

The Southington-Cheshire Community YMCAs honors all Legacy Giving Donors with membership in the Heritage Society. As a member, you will:
- Receive satisfaction with the knowledge that your gift to the Y will help ensure that programs and services in our community will continue and impact future generations
- annual fellowship meetings, ongoing communications on the Y’s progress and programming, VIP invitations to upcoming Y events, recognition in our annual report, and more.
