Team Tyler was created in memory of Tyler Paul Chamberland. Tyler was a 2008 graduate of Southington High School and he double majored at CCSU in business management and marketing. He was an amazing son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, and friend. He held a talent for all things athletic and was a dedicated ironworker. We miss the laughs we share with him and are reminded each day to give 100% for him!
This team was created to honor Tyler’s fighting spirit and gentle heart. It is also to help others win their battles and know they are not fighting alone.
The race fee to run or walk is $30. $20 goes to the race and $10 goes to Team Tyler. Our proceeds from this race will be donated to the Scholarship Fund of the Mountainside Addition Treatment Center in Canaan, CT. They are doing amazing work helping people through their healing process and helping to lay the foundation for a happier, healthier life.
