Team Adam and Jim

Adam Levin passed away in June of 2013 at the age of 25.  He was the son of Howie and Sharon Levin and brother to Alyssa and Andrew. He lived his whole life in Southington and graduated in 2006 from SHS.  He attended UConn, where he was majoring in Mechanical Engineering.  He was a lifelong member of the Southington YMCA, where he took swimming lessons, played on various sports teams, and worked out.  He loved sports, music, and movies and will always be remembered for his sense of humor, and his kind, generous heart. He leaves a gap in the lives of those who knew him and he is missed every day.

Jim Maffiolini passed away in July 2014 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He left behind his wife, Debbie, and kids Marissa, Steven, Alicia, and Teresa, who were all very much loved by him. Jim was very active in the town of Southington, volunteering as a coach for youth baseball, basketball, and soccer. He was a great mentor and the kids enjoyed his sense of humor. He also assisted with the production of his daughters’ dance recitals whenever his help was needed. In addition, Jim had a successful career with CSC of East Hartford, where he worked for 27 years. He was a graduate of Trinity College and St. Thomas Seminary of Bloomfield.
