Naciwonki Summer AdventuresIT’S YOUR SUMMER TO SHINE DAY CAMP FOR K-5 AT THE SOUTHINGTON YMCA IT’S YOUR SUMMER TO SHINE DAY CAMP FOR K-5 AT THE SOUTHINGTON YMCA Naciwonki offers one-week summer sessions for children entering K-5. Children have the opportunity to do arts & crafts, team building activities, outdoor games, go on field trips, and more. Naciwonki Summer Adventurers swim Monday to Thursday with the exception of the final session of the summer.* The Y provides an afternoon snack. Children need to bring their own lunch packed with a cold pack. Hours: 9 am — 4 pm (Before and After Care is available for an additional cost). SESSION THEMES Session 1: 6/21-6/25 *Session dates may change if the last day of school changes. The first week may be prorated, depending on the last day of school.
PRICING PER SESSION - 2021 Pricing TBA Regular Day: (9:00 – 4:00) Before Care:(6:30 – 9:00) After Care:(4:00 – 5:30)
WHAT WILL YOUR CHILD BE DOING? Each day will consist of scheduled activities based on weekly themes. Children will have the opportunity to do arts and crafts projects, team building activities, water activities and indoor/outdoor games. Also, all campers will have the option to swim two days a week. There will be no swimming for the last 2-4 sessions. *If a child misses a testing day (Monday or Tuesday) they will not be allowed to swim on the second swim day. We will be going on occasional bussed field trips, some trips include going to local businesses within walking distance of the YMCA. In the past, we have visited Mystic Aquarium, Connecticut Science Center, Wickham Park, and Pralines Ice Cream.
